Logic Pro 7 & earlier Bypassing the Logic 5 dongle for use with Rosetta? [Mac]

Okay, so I have a situation more unique than I'd like it to be.

I need to have access to using Logic 5.4.  My PowerMac G5 died, which prompted me to buy one of the newer iMac's.  I plan on hanging onto a 10.6 partition with the new iMac for the use of Rosetta, but to my disappointment, Logic 5.4 (a PowerPC application) won't recognize the Logic 5 USB dongle, and won't let the application start up.
 
My question is, what kind of shady Terminal practices exist that might allow me to bypass the dongle for such a program?  I tried downloading the latest eMagic dongle driver, but as you can imagine, the latest dongle driver was put out long before the Intel mac.  Does anyone else know of any other backdoor type of ways to get this application to work by getting past the need for a dongle?  I remember that there were hacks (cracks) for programs like Logic that didn't require a dongle for those who chose to pirate it (not this guy), but I'm not sure where to find what I am looking for for version 5.4.
 
Anyway, I know it sounds like a shady request, but here is why I have projects that depend on Logic 5.4:
 
- Logic 5.4 was the last version of Logic to support the use of VST instruments.
- Logic 5.4 was the last version to include the EXS24 mk I.
 
The big deal breaker is the mk I of the EXS24.  Mk II has different filters and other more technical variances that made recreating instrument sounds impossible with mk II of the EXS24 (believe me, I've tried).  I have a good couple handfuls of projects that have virtual instrument sounds that the mk II can't duplicate, hence needing Logic 5.4.
 
At first glance, I have seen downloads from shady website services for cracked versions of Logic 5.5, but that was the beginning of the 2nd EXS24, and won't help me.

Does anyone have any suggestions?  Any and all of them will be very much appreciated.  Thanks so much for your time!

I would suggest picking up a used G5... they are very cheap these days, especially if you get one with minimum ram and no drives, and throw your old stuff into it. Couple of hundred is about normal for a dual 1.8 to 2 Ghz...

Just to add what Mark said, hacking and cracking can't be discussed here, even if it's in regard to a legal licence, so even though I'm replying the thread is still locked.

But a quick thought in case it's useful:

When Apple took over emagic, they would replace your old blue dongles with a white one (provided you had legal proof of purchase). I'm not sure if they still do this or even whether it would solve the issue, but it's worth trying, especially if you ever want to upgrade.
