Logic Pro 9 Can I Play basic midi with QuickTime instruments in 10.6?

Hi All,

How do I play a basic midi song in logic with snow leopard 10.6 (laptop) - I don't see anything with Quicktime X (OS 10.6 Snow Leopard) - QuickTime instruments... I also added QT 7 but it doesn't appear in logic either...

audio midi setup dosen't see it either....

any way to get this setup?

This is the correct target for External MIDI tracks. On a Software Instrument track choose AU Instrument -> Apple -> DLSMusicDevice from the drop down menu in the instrument slot.
