Logic Pro Cannot hear track

I opened a demo track that came with Logic Pro and added a track for my grandson to sing. It looks like it recorded fine, but I cannot hear it and when I solo it, it turns gray. I added an audio track to play guitar along and I can't hear it either. Is there some kind of protection or something?

You're looking at Track Stacks. Click the triangle to get to the actual audio tracks inside.
