Logic Pro Changing tempo without stretching audio files

I'm putting together a podcast for a friend. We recorded the interview separately. Now I'm bringing those tracks into the project in which I created the intro music. I want to change the tempo of the music but when I change the tempo of the project, it's also stretching the audio of the interview, which I don't want. I've unchecked "Follow tempo," I've tried locking the SMPTE position, but nothing is working. It's trying to modify the speed of the interview to match the tempo. How can I keep that from happening?

There's an easy solution that requires all music tracks to be bounced to a single stereo track with one audio region on it.
After the bounce, mute all of the music tracks except for the new stereo mix track.

Option-dragging the right lower edge of the audio region changes the tempo.
- Option-drag to the left shortens the region which increases the tempo
- Option-drag to the right lengthens the region which slows down the temp.

This action only affects the audio music region and will not change the tempo of the interview track.

Attachment 1 - Individual tracks - shows individual audio tracks, but could be software instrument tracks.

Attachment 2 - stereo mix - The first 5 tracks were selected and the Logic File menu>Bounce>Regions in Place command was activated.

Attachment 3 - Option-drag - The muted tracks were hidden. Option-dragging the right lower edge of the stereo mix region does not change the tempo of the organ track which can represent your interview track.

Once you the have the stereo mix tempo sorted out, you can bounce the music and interview tracks into whatever file format needed.
