Logic Pro 9 Color Marker Track

The Nahmani book shows sections of the marker track with different names and colors. 'Verse' in a pink section, 'Chorus in a blue section, etc. How do I add a marker for an eight-bar section, and choose a color? I've been able to select a giant black stripe across the whole song, and change the color of the tiny letters that say'marker 1', but that's all.

Open the color palette with option C then, with the marker selected, click on the desired colour. Most likely it will look all black with your selected color showing only in the text marker name. If you then deselect the marker you will see it's new colour.
