Logic Pro 9 comp problem

I think I want to use comp 2 but can't figure out how to switch positions with comp 1. I can pull it up and cover comp 1, but then I can't see what is in comp 1. Also none of the takes seem to be related to the comps. I would like to audition all of them. I somehow recorded directly in the comp track. There are no mini menus or quick swip comping in either comp 1 or 2. I'm confused.

The bit in your picture is a flattened comp, there is no arrow on the right side, and this is what you change the comp version's from one to the other.
