Is there any way to create midi instrument definitions, the likes of which can be done in Sonar? I've recently switched to logic studio from Sonar and now have lost the ability to program and setup all my outboard hardware. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.🙂

Yes, you can do this by using the multi instruments in the Environment. They allow for multiple banks and patch names. Check out multi instruments in the Environment section of the manual. It's not particularly complicated to get a basic set up working with a few different banks of patch names.
