Logic Pro 8 Compressor problem (im guessing)

So i have three kicks layered together. One for my top end and the other for my bottom end and a sub kick, i then have all 3 of their outputs to a bus where they have an overdrive an envelope and quite heavy compression. The output of that bus is then sent to a full drum bus with the rest of my drums. Finally each individual kick has a send to a parallel compression bus, the same as my other drum tracks. For some reason at (0:16, 0:33, 1:40) the kick seems to come in real hard after a slight break from not playing. Could this be a release/attack issue? I'm assuming its something to do with the compressor/parallel compression, if so how could i work around this and also why is this happening? Re-sampling is my last course of action, if anyone wants the project to have a look to see what the problem is that would be appreciated, if not anyother help would be great! Thanks

I don't hear anything special in your example, the kick sounds always the same. At least I believe that the "hoohh hoohh" after each beat is part of your sound. Is this not the case?

If only the first hit is loud, the release time of your compressor may be too long. In such a case the first hit comes at normal level but the compressor does not go fully up again before the next hit. Therefore all other following hits until the last one are quieter.
