Logic Pro 7 & earlier Converting old PC projects to Logic 8

Hello all -

I know this has been brought up before but what am asking may be a bit different.
I know I can't just open Logic 5 PC projects in Mac Logic 8.
I have not been able to find anyone selling version 7 of Logic on Ebay and I dont know of anyone doing conversion services.

SOOOOOOO,,,, Does anyone have a legit copy of Version 7 for Mac or PC that I can buy????
ORRRRRRR does anyone have a version installed that can do the conversion for me for a fee????

My house burnt down and I lost everything except what was in my bag which was the files themselves on a USB drive. I dont have any install discs for version 5 and I never had version 7 and I just recently purchased version 8 for Mac from a friend and subsequently found that I can't open my old projects etc..

Actually, you can. Logic 8, 9 and X will open projects from Logic 5.

I have tried but it asks Convert from,ogic version then I press OK then it says it was uable to convert then gices OK button and that is it, no other dialogs.
