Logic Pro 9 Digital spikes using flex time....

Anyone getting this?.....I am, quite subtle, but definately audible, 1 or 2 every few bars. Have narrowed it down to using flex time (not cpu / ram/ latency - buffer stress / pre recorded / record level overload etc)
