Logic Pro Drum Kit Designer missing content?

I'm studying the new tutorials on dkd at macprovideo. On the videos, David can swap out any drum in the kit . On my computer I can only change the kick and snare on any given kit and am only given 3 options per drum, unlike the video which has many options. When I click on any other drum there are no options for alternative pieces. I don't know if apple changed the plugin after he made the video or if I'm missing content, or, have something it installed correctly. I double checked that I installed all the extra content so supposedly have all the drums. I guess I could download it again but I'd rather confirm that that's necessary. Thanks for any help.

Never mind. One can change any drum when working with a "producer kit." I'm going to start digging into the manual.

Yea, good thing that manual ;-)

That said, I am finding the "what's new in Logic Pro X" section to be very helpful. There are so many little things (or big things that don't appear as big on first glance) to find out about this release.

I do have to admit the help within the app is about as "helpful" as asking for directions in a country where you don't speak the language. Very frustrating.

I've found Quick Help to help. You can also click command and slash to go straight to the help page on teat subject - to me that is very useful.

Absolutely-I love Quick Help! And as you noted, the best part is that you can view the quick help in context, then go right to the manual page in the Help Manual. Even if you're an expert, that kind of in context manual is a great help when you need it.
