How are Drum Machine Designer and Ultrabeat Connected.
If I chancge sample in Drum Machine Designer (DMD), Ultrabeat is updated accordingly and the channelstrip for the sound is reset to a stupid default (bitcrusher and stuff) I don't want.
So I thought I go the other way and change sample in Ultrabeat. Although this works, the sample is changed and the channel strip is not reset, the name of the sample (or keygroup) in Ultrabeat is not transferred to DMD. And if I chose a completely empty slot, I can't get any sound at all and there are no mapping of Smart Controls.
Is there some information on this very obscure structure? I can't really grasp what the DMD is. I mean it looks like a virtual instrument but it's more like some kind of Macro.
