Logic Pro 9 Editing two Midi regions

Hi,

I normally edit two separate midi regions which are on different tracks, first I highlight one region, then key command command 6, then go back to the arrange window and select the other/others the go back to my piano roll window, and bobs your uncle it works.... ALWAYS!!!!

I can't recall weather or not I have the link windows active? So I've tried all combinations but nothing seems to be happening now?

You should have the link mode button displayed as yellow, which means it's in the "show contents link mode" state. This is the mode where it will display the contents of whatever region is selected. This is normally the default state of the link button. Possibly it got changed. Just click it until it turns yellow, and Bob will once again be your uncle.
