Emailing music files

Hey everyone- my writing buddy and myself are now 100 kms apart and can't write and record as often as we like. Is there a decent compression program that we can use to save, transfer and share tracks on logic 9 via email on an attachment. Thanks so much
 
Dropbox.com. You get 2 gigs free, works great. You upload your files to your drop box and then share the link with your friend.
