I first bought a MCU but had to return it as it was deffective. Then they had a major shortage due to the factories closing last year so I bought the Euphonics. I'm considering selling it and going for another shot at the mackie as it seems to have quite a lot more control and visual feedback. That, and I really don't like the stobe light looking low refresh rate on the euphonics screen. It's driving my eyes buggy. I figure if one learns key commands they don't really need the MC controll's touch screen, the mackie C4 offers more options and controll of even outboard gear and for the price of a MC mix, I can buy an MCU and have more control with some money left over. Does anyone here have experience with both who can give me an accurate compairison? What are the strengths and weaknesses of both?
