Logic Pro Exporting A Portion of a Project to MP3 - How-To?

I am the IT/AV director for a church and we recently adopted Logic Pro as our new DAW platform. We previously used a PC-based DAW.

Each week we record approximately 90 consecutive minutes of multi-track audio. Then we mix that and distribute portions of it (individual songs) to team members and our pastors.

We are having trouble finding an efficient workflow to export portions (ie individual songs) to MP3 without having to first export to .wav.

Question - Is there a way to select portions of tracks and export those to MP3? Surely we are missing something.

Notes:
We have tried the Bounce function to export to MP3, but it exports the entire 1.5 hour session.
We have used the Export>Selection as Audio File, but MP3 is not an available format in that export function.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

Thanks Pete - that works. We weren't aware that we had to first set a range with the Cycle function. We thought the tracks could just be selected with the Marquee Tool then exported/bounced. That's a workflow that we were used to in our old PC-based DAW.

Again, thanks for the help.
