Logic Pro 9 Exporting and Importing Comp Audio Files

Anyone know how to export comp recordings in logic 9 then import them to another logic file ?

I record vocals in one file to keep off the delay issues .
I would like to import them back to the other file for mix.

use track import?

record vocals on one song; open second song and keep first song open; copy/paste to second song (choose "paste to original record position" or whatever it's' called)
