Hi,

I have just loaded Logic 8 onto a new mac and I have just discovered that the EXS24 instrument "Jazz kit.exs" can't be found I have attached a pic of the error message

I have loaded Logic 8 onto A stock imac 3.2 i3, 4 gig of ram, 10.6.4. I have also software updated Logic to "8.0.2" and "pro applications" upgrade.

Is there a quick and simple way to get this kit to work?

Thanks,
Jay

You may want to check to see if those samples are there by clicking on Continue, clicking on the edit button on the EXS24, and searching for those samples in /Library/Application Support/Garageband/Instrument Library/Sampler/Sampler Files/Jazz Kit

Hey Will,

I had a search and I couldn't find the sample files for the "Jazz kit" they seem to be missing. How do I get these back?

Regards,
Jay

2 ways to get that Jazz Kit, if you have these. The first is if you still have the os install disc that came with the mac, install the additional garageband files that came with the disc. Some os disc don't install all the garageband exs files (probably to save space on the hard drive). If that doesn't work, reinstall all the garageband files that came with the Logic Studio discs (including the Legacy Instruments). I hope this works for you.
