Logic Pro Flex pitch correction is gaslighting me!

I painstakingly edit an audio region. Then I go to the next region, which had a few minor flaws, and it sounds as though the singer was singing in the key of H! I can't for the life of me ascertain what I'm doing wrong. My kingdom for an answer!

H is one higher than G? or is that Helium? Which region sounds like H. The painstaking one or the minor flaws one? What kind of edits?
