Logic Pro Flex question

I'm working on a huge project - lots of short poems, some with 3 or 4 active tracks ( out of about 80), some with audio and MIDI tracks. Say, 80 segments, of which 35 are favourites.

Yesterday I had a vocal problem that I thought both Flex Time and Flex Pitch would be appropriate ( Melodyne is available, but I thought the Flex game offered more direct access)

what I hadn;t realised until now, was that any flex edits only apply when Flex is active on a track. I couldn't find a way to 'fix' the region, and I didn't want to have flex applying to all the other regions on that track.

I think I can de-select Flex on any regions where I don't want it to apply, can I do this en batch?

I've never sussed the 'Freeze' function - would this be useful here?

Would the best way to 'fix' Flex edits be to bounce the region, then re-import it to a non-Flex situation?

cheers

I'm on LPX 10.3.2.

If you want to keep the Flex adjustments on one region but don't want the other regions on a track to be affected by Flex
- Click on the track header to select all regions on the track, then shift-click the region you want excluded from the next step, then uncheck Flex in the Region Inspector. That's about as Batch as it gets I think.

If you want to undue a Flex adjustment on a region, right or Control-click on it, then select Reset Manual Flex Edits or Reset All Flex Edits.

You can BIP a Flexed region to a new track as a safety measure, then move it into the position on the working track if you're happy with the results.
