Some audio regions have a "Transpose" parameter in the Region Inspector, and some don't (as well as "Follow Tempo"). This applies to both AppleLoops and my own audio.
How can I give my audio regions the "Transpose" parameter availability? It seems that only audio recorded inside Logic can have this parameter. If re-record a piece of audio (loop back a track back into Logic and record it in realtime), then it sort of works, but I have to have "Follow Tempo" turned on in order to see the Transpose parameter. But, for example, many AppleLoops have the Transpose parameter available without having to turn on Follow Tempo.
so 1), surely there's a way to pretend a pre-existing audio file has been recorded into Logic (to give it the Transpose parameter) without having to physically record it into Logic! and 2), how can i have the Transpose parameter without having to turn on Follow Tempo?
