Logic Studio apps Graphic problem with Mountain Lion

MBP i7 2GHz 8GB Ram early 2011
external Samsug Monitor 23" whth a Mini DisplayPort to-DVI-Adapter
I installed Mountain Lion on an external drive for testing. Now I have the problem that the monitor is flashing when I start Mainstage 2.2.2. in full size mode (command 4)
When I go back to window mode (command 3) I have graphic issues on the screen. When I start ML without the second monitor all seems to be fine
I get the following messages in console:

Is there someone else with this problems? Any tips?

Don't know if this will help, but...

I routinely fix disk permissions afte any kind of install, and after installing ML, I noticed that almost all the permissions DIsk Utility repaired on the startup disk had something to do with CoreGraphics. You might want to repair permissions just to see.
 
Thanks for your reply but unfortunatly repairing all disks and possible permissions doesn´t help at all.
Noone else with this problem?

When I upgraded to Mountain Lion on my MacMini Server, my HDMI JVC 37" freaked out on the display.
I had to go to System Preferences -> Displays and choose the proper display.

I've since reformatted my drive with Mountain Lion and don't see that option because I think on the new install it properly install the right display.
 
Update of my previous post: I also installed MainStage 2.2 on my 10.8 MacBook Pro 13". No problem on this platform! Works like a charm. The video corruption I observe on my iMac 27" is certainly due to the wide screen size. This is clearly a bug and Apple has to work on it now.
 
After I upgraded to Mountain Lion, I noticed that anytime I opened a plug-in (in Logic 9.1.7) with any sort of animation the computer became unresponsive and 90% of the time I'd have to force quit. I ended up erasing my main HD, partitioning, and installed Snow Leopard for logic, and Mountain Lion for everything else. IT sucks, but until Apple fixes it what can we do?
 
I work professionally as an Avid editor in an all Mac house. We have recently installed Mountain Lion and have also noticed some odd graphic card to monitor issues. Safe to say this IS an Apple issue.
One can only hope a ML firmware update is in the pipe.

resetting PRAM is no solution for my problem and since the last Lion Update (10.7.5) the problem is also there. I got a mail from a guy called Jon from Audio/Midi Applications Apple Inc. at the end of August and he was asking for sending him the Support Profile. I did and never heard again from him ;-(
 
If I'm understanding correctly, any MacPro with ATI graphics cards running Logic 9.1.7 and using an OS previous to the most current version of Mountain Lion will likely experience graphic problems? I'm running 10.7.3 and have 2 MacPros with ATI cards, my other workstation machines use NVidia cards. Sounds like I shouldn't upgrade Logic.
 
Hey guys, I found it to be a bad font I had downloaded somewhere. I removed all my User Fonts from Fontbook and my Logic and Mainstage crash issues went away.
 
Temporary Fix

I found that if I open mainstage, I get the screen flicker issue, however if i then change the refresh rate from 60hz to 50hz in the system settings, that the problem goes away until I resize the mainstage window, then repeating the process once again fixes it.
It doesn't seem to matter whether you change it from 60hz to 50hz then back to 60hz again, it fixes the problem until you resize the window.
