Logic Pro 9 Grizzle exchange between L9 and Ultralite mk3

Hi guys, lately I'm getting this message a lot:

"Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI.
Sample Rate 11409 recognized.
Check conflict between Logic Pro and external device."

I don't know what kind of conflict is he talking about, because I know the sample rates match, I've checked it a million times.
The audio becomes completely chopped up and I have to restart Logic. It also happens when switching between sessions.
Is anybody getting this, it never happened to me before L9.

Greetings from the tropics

No problems when playing through the built-in audio. In fact it turned out to be a quicker way of solving the problem, switching to built-in then back to MOTU!

I really wish it wouldn't do it all, but I can live with this.

probably or lots of others would be complaining.. what do motu say about their drivers and L9?

ive had similar issues with sync errors on L8..which i solve by rebooting the ensemble or changing the driver to mac and back as you have.. i also had it change its preferences to external clock at one point for no apparent reason..
thus my response.

lets see if it happens again
best

Now its happening right in the middle of a session! All of a sudden the audio becomes chopped up and I have to re-launch coreaudio.
Did it ever happened to you like this? In the middle of a session?
