This guitar track had flex pitch set for it. I changed it to Polyphonic, but it still sound awful. Indeed, when I turned flex off altogether, it still sounds quite bad. I made a little movie to show the difference in sound between Logic Pro and the file in the Finder. I had flex polyphonic engaged when recording the movie, but it still sounds just as bad when I turn it off. All effects are off on the Stereo Out and the track stack as well as the guitar track. How can that sound so bad in Logic Pro? It is as if the audio was transformed once flex had been engaged and turned off.
The screen is not so visible in the video, so here is a screen shot.
PS I'd really love to know an easy way to record the screen with the sound. In Quicktime, there are only inputs to select sound from. I had to setup a camera to record this.
