Having trouble with Focusrite Scarlett mic and instrument routing

By trouble I mean I can get it to record no problem. I can't, however figure out how to have it use a different input other than 1 or 2 on my focusrite scarlett 18i6. I use inputs 1 and 2 for guitar and need to be able to do both at once. I tried setting up an aggregate device but I'm not sure if it's configured correctly. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, that would be great!

This is really an interface issue. I don't know the Scarlett, so can't help but i will move this from the Logic X forum and edit the title as it isn't an issue with Logic. Maybe someone Familar with the Scarlett can then help regarding the internal routing.

The Scarlett works like any other audio interface. Just as you have set tracks to receive a signal from channels 1 and 2 from the interface, set other tracks to receive input from channels 3 to 6. It will all be in the same menus used to select channels 1 and 2, assuming you have enabled the extra channels. Have a look at the Mix Control app that came with the Scarlett and make sure they are active.
