Thought I'd post this to logic users first:
I'm working with a friend building a studio and we have the following setup that works and sounds great:
Mac Intel Quadcore, 2xHDSPe/2xMultiface, Logic 9
Unfortunately, after a certain time period Logic loses communication with the cards. Through RME's TotalMix software, I can see signal coming into the inputs but I'm not hearing anything through Logic's inputs. I can get the audio back by adjusting the audio buffer size preference, but that's a lame workaround.
I believe the energy saver control panel is set to never put anything to sleep, so I don't think that's the issue. IIRC it loses communication while Logic is open and hasn't been used for a while, i.e., I've never had the audio drop out while I was working on something.
Has anybody experienced this issue before?
Thanks for any help,
LH
