Help Logic 9 file delete in finder

hello. i am trying to clean up all tracks. when i delete files in the bin on open song they still remain the finder. i have used " organize files" and most of the time it says ..."there is nothing to clean up"....but the files remain in the finder...they are not in the bin but when i open song and look in the audio files there are 90% that are not being used. i want to delete them. been looking on line for 3 days and cannot find this subject fully talked about. ONE MORE THING/ CAN I DELETE diff versions on the song in the song...like song 1 /song2 / song 3 and when i am on song 87can i get rid of those earlier versions without losing any of the new addons etc. thank you so much...stephen n/ nashville...anybody know of a LOGIC user group in NASHVILLE...

You must use the delete command from under the AudioFile menu in the Audio Bin. Otherwise the file will only be deleted from the project and not the hard drive. So use either the menu item or key command for Delete Files in the Audio Bin window.
