Hi folks, I'm a new user and I'm working on a project which I need to send wav tracks to a friend in Phuket. He advised me that I needed to send in wav so he could edit and add to mix or whatever he wants. He's working on a Mac with Logic 9 same as me. I sent him the wav files of every instrument track I had recorded for a particular song, via Dropbox, and he's downloaded them to his Mac. But they won't open in his Logic 9. Is there some dumb thing I am doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Steve

It could be your problem or his....

If you both have the same version of Logic you might consider zipping (compressing) the project folder and and upload that to DropBox. Then he can open and save the files as he wants.

If you are just doing audio files you should test that they play in the Mac browser or in QuickTime. Make sure they are not 32 bit, 16 and 24 are OK.
