I have a sc-88 pro environment for logic 4 and need it saved as logic 7. Some out there willing to help me out ? The environment is attached. It's a matter of opening an saving it.

This is waht logix pro 10.7 tells me:

The song you are trying to open is in Logic 4 format (or earlier). Please open and save it with Logic 7.2.1 or earlier first.
You have to do that on a Macintosh computer, which still runs an older version of macOS, because these old versions of Logic Pro are no longer compatible with macOS 10.13 or later.

I *might* be able to help you...it'll take me a day or three to get one of my older computers hooked up to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse... I do have Logic 7.2.1 on one or two of them so I should be able to convert it, although I've never tried opening just an environment (only entire projects). I'm also fairly crushed with other things going on at the moment, but I'll see what I can do!

Great news, and please do not hurry. If you can open it and save it as a song, with the environment in it, then i believe i can handle it from there.

@doofus: I can open the project you converted here in 10.7.2, well done!

One little thing to note: When converting these files, for some reason in the main page the zoom setting is at maximum, meaning, the whole page is just showing a tiny part of the timeline and there are no regions visible - simply because they are all off screen to the right. Stay calm and zoom out, everything will be there!

kind regards

Mark

Mark, excellent job. I use a Mac 27Inch and it showed directly on the screen. So now, after many many years, i can continue the quest and I am really happy. Many Thanks. Erik
