Logic Pro 9 How do I group like instruments together?

I have 6 tracks of EXS strings that I'd like to show up as only 1 channel in the mixer. I currently have them all grouped together and sent to an aux bus, as well as they're hidden in the arrange window, so they don't show up in the mixer. Is there another way though, or is this it?

thanks

In the local menu of the mixer you find a function to make an Arrange track with the selected channelstrip.

Alternatively you do a right-click in the track header (the gray area at the beginning of the track) and select the Aux from the popup menu.

This yields the same result as I am currently doing, correct?
I was just wondering if there was a way that did it all together AND hid each individual channel strip automatically with the function. I'm not opposed to my way, it's just not super fast.

Ah now I see that I misunderstood you. There is no way to hide tracks automatically after sending them to a bus.

You can click on the first "H" button of the first track you want to hide, hold the mouse button and drag over the other buttons. That way you can hide many tracks with one movement. Not super fast but fast.

Are you really in such a hurry? I hope you got enough time for your composition
