Logic Pro 9 How do you sync audio file

Can someone tell me how to sync up a single audio file to the metronome in logic?

You could try the "Detect Tempo" function found in the Arrange Window's Audio menu. But chances are you will need to use the Global Track "Beat Mapping" function to get things really accurate.

Yes, absolutely agree. But if you know the audio file was done to a click and there are no tempo changes, then you can adjust Logics metronome to it.

Define a cycle area in the bar ruler that is the same number of bars and beats as the audio region, then select the audio and use Menu: Options>Tempo>Adjust tempo using region length (command T)
