Logic Pro 9 How to create loops in Logic without pops when it repeats?

I am recording samples in my arrangement from my Korg m3 that i want to turn into loops.

Here is how i am approaching it thus far. I record the 4 bar segment (matching tempo of course) and trim the silence off the beginning and end. Also when editing, I make sure "snap to zero crossings" (or something like that) is on. However when my sample region loops, i hear the "pop" or "click" on repeat when it finishes and starts back over again.

Is there a better way to do this? Or am I doing it wrong? please help. Thanks.

If you are using a sustaining synth sound, a better approach would be to use the samples in EXS24. That way you can keep the attack sound and start/finish the looping section in a sustain portion, however if there is any kind of sound change, either tone or level, then the loop within a sample is not going to work.

Regarding loops in the arrange, I find that any glitches are sorted quite well by short fade in/out on the actual region.

You can also do this destructively using fade in and fade out in the sample editor.

One word - crossfades. This should do the trick. If Pete's idea of a short fade out and fade in doesn't work; try a cross fade.
