Logic Pro How To Roll Back Logic 10.1.0 to the previous version

Hi All

I am buying Lexicon PCM Native Reverb or Lexicon LXP Native Plugins but Lexicon tell me there is a problem with noise on the latest version of Logic and the fix is to roll back to the previous version.

Can someone please tell me how i roll back?

Thanks

Alan

Rolling back to 10.0.7 would mean accessing a backup (you hopefully still have) from prior to updating.

It's always a good idea to zip logic pro prior to updating, after which the zipped version can be moved, unzipped, renamed, it can then even be moved back into the applications folder.

kind regards

Thanks Mark

I do have a backup drive on my Mac but not being familiar with recalling items I do not know how to identify which file I need to access.

Alan, assuming your backup is time machine on a separate HD, I would do it like this: Acccess the Time Machine HD using the finder, on it you should see a list of folders named after back up dates. Open the most recent backup set made prior to updating to LPX 10.1, you should see the backup of your system drive, go into that, go into the applications folder, there you should see Logic Pro X, copy this onto your current System HD. If you wish, you can rename it to something like logic pro x 10.7, and place it in your applications folder.

kind regards

Apologies for the last question,i have now sorted out the installation process, and copied it down on paper.

I will wait and see if i have the problems reported with Lexicon, and if so then i will reinstall Logic 10.0.7

Thanks for the help.
