Logic Pro 9 Import Audio from Movie crashes L9

Hi,
I've just upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6.4. I'm running L9.1.1 and am doing a test run to see if my system is stable enough for me to actually use SL.

I just imported a movie using the Logic file menu option. When I try to import the movie audio using the same method, Logic crashes!

Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a known bug with SL?

Judith, in all likelihood this is down to running Logic in 64 bit mode. More here:

The following features are only available when running Logic Pro 9.1, Logic Pro 9.1.1, or Logic Express 9.1.1 in 32-bit mode.

Try it with Logic in 32 bit mode.

Hi Mark,

I was looking to import rather than export. I was able to import the movie audio using Logic's browser. I did a search on the LUG and found out how to do it🙂

I import audio from video multiple times a day and never have problems on 64 bit. The limitation of 64 bit is that you can't export audio from your session to the video.
