Logic Pro 8 importing windows logic files into logic pro 8

hello,

I apologize in advance for the n00bishness of this question but while I was converting my windows LSO files into logic files, I noticed that the VST plugin settings for Amplitube (for example) don't seem to carry over, even for those that I have AU versions of. I suspect this has to do with the way in logic pro, "audio units" is introduced into the path structure of the dropdown plugins/inserts window. So my question is, how do I tweak Logic or the project so that I can pick up right where I left off without these plugin concerns? thanks!

You are correct, VST Settings will not be recognized the equivalent Audio Units in Logic running in OSX. It may not be what you wish to read, but when I made the switch from LAWP 5.5.1 to Logic Pro 7, I noted all the VST settings in Logic 5 of those projects I wanted to transfer, and added them individually to the projects in Logic 7. Yes, it took ages ...
