Logic Pro Independant Pan Question (10.42)

Hi everyone
I am trying to figure out what the new features in the mixer page are all about. The "send to fader" must be to simply make worklife easier. I can't find any advantage other than that, which is of course fine by all means.

But what about independent pan, how does that differ from post pan, and why is it only available in the mixer page. I can't spot any difference between these two options.

Also, the option to "copy fader (or pan) to send".
"Copy fader to pan" must do the same as the old "post pan" also did or is there a difference. The "copy fader to send" seems kind of strange to me, in which scenario would that come up.

All the best
Henrik

Ah I figured the send to fader out. You get different pans for signal and send after choosing independent pan...clever. Of course this is why this option is only in the mixer page, it makes sense. Very cool feature
