Logic Pro Irritating Logic Pro behavior

LogicJam

Logician
Logic version
11.0.1
Mac OS
14.5
Small issue w/ LP pro ( 11.0.1……. MacBook Pro OS 14.5)
In piano roll, when I highlight a note, then dbl click, window shifts to right, maybe 4 measures. Track bar stays on highlighted note. Why?
Not always, but here’s conditions to make it happen: I highlight a note, small ,3”, location dialog box opens (accurate for selected note). I click it off, then use piano roll expansion control to widen notes, Dbl click note, then piano roll window mysteriously shifts to right…..maybe 2-4 bars . Then I have to move it all back, expand, and all ok, until it happens again. irritating .
One of the Customize Control/Display settings ? Have tried on/off of various . No joy
Any ideas ?

Last question. What is purpose for orange “ I “ next to red record button in track heading ?
Thx for answer(s)

Hello,
on LP 11.1.2 I don't have this problem, I tried many times in different zoom and windows, but it doesn't happen to me. Weird tho.
I would try updating, the first "11" version had quite some bugs for me. But remember to make a copy of Logic's old version before, so that you can go back to 11.0.1 if something goes wrong!
About the orange "I": it enables the Input Monitoring function on audio track, so that you can hear what is going to be recorded before starting. Very useful when you are setting an amp simulator. It is not clear what could be the function of this "I" on an instrument track, but I guess it's just there.
