I have a piece that has a Piano part that, in 4/4 has triplets on each quarter note-each bar has 4 sets of triplets. Because Apple won't play nicely we may not import XML only MIDI, but which MIDI 0 or 1? after importing the piano track the triplets turned into 2 16ths tied to an 8th note-ta ta taaaa terrible mess. It would help if there was a way to select all and make them all the same length and POSITION in the Piano Roll. Any one want to help with this?

Select all and adjust the length (of any one note) while holding shift & alt.
To make all the same position I think you need to do this in the event list. Same procedure:

If your triplets got imported as something else, it seems somehow a quantise value got in there somehow. Not sure about that.

Hey Pete! Thanks very much. Does [..1 31] look like a single note length of a triplet on a quarter beat in 4/4 quantized to 16/24? Importing MIDI file type 1 turned all the triplets into 8th's

The numerical note length depends on division, it has nothing to do with quantisation. With a division of 16 it would be close to ..1 72.

That would not turn them back into triplets. I would imagine something else went wrong, e.g. wrong tempo.

I don't wish to be rude, but from what you say, I would imagine that you will find Logic much better if you grasp some of the basics. A good working knowledge is important before making decisions about which DAW is bets for your needs.
We are happy to help here, but it will be really useful to do some more manual reading, e.g about what quantisation does and doesn't do, what tuplet symbols are for.
