Logic Pro 9 Izotope Vinyl plug-in

Hey folks-

I've been trying to use the Izotope Vinyl Audio Unit plug-in with Logic 9/OSX 10.7, but the Audio Units Manager in Logic keeps saying it "Fails" when it tries to validate the plug-in. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, repairing Disk permissions, redownloading the plug-in, but I keep getting the same message. Any ideas?

Hi, I had exactly the same problem after downloading the newest version of Vinyl. I contacted Izotope and a support rep name Joel responded quickly with the following instructions... this should work for you:

The error message indicated in the AUVal crash indicates a permissions error. We can fix this by:
1) In the Finder, go to Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > Components.
2) Locate the iZotope Vinyl plugin file. Select the file, and choose File menu > Get Info
3) In the Info window, under Sharing & Permissions, change the Privilege to Read & Write for all users listed
