Logic Pro 9 Key Commands I Can't Seem To Find - please help.

hi everyone
Its been a while since I used logic and I'm moving up from logic 5 on a windows machine. (I know, I know...)

There are 2 key commands that just cannot seem to find in the manual - I guess they've changed :)

The first is this: Control E
I used to use this command when I needed more tracks for the same instrument.
For example: I'm not a good keyboard player so I would program the right hand. Then I would hit control E and it would give me another track with the same instrument and I would program the left hand.
Its not the same as "New With Duplicate Setting." This command would not copy the instrument itself like it does with "New with Duplicate Setting" it would just give me another track to work on with the same instrument.
Anyone know what the equivalent key command is in Logic 9?

Secondly: "N" for normalize.
This command used to let me write something permanently to a track.
For example: if I was experimenting with the key to a song.
I would transpose it down or up until I found the right key. I would then press "N" and it would write that transposition to the track and the -3 or +2 in the transpose box would disappear as it was now a permanent thing.
Anyone know the equivalent to that key command in logic 9?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi there,

I think the first key command you are looking for is:

New Track with Same Channel Strip/Instrument

The second is called:

Normalize region Parameters
