Logic Pro 9 Live Analysis

I have Logic Pro 9 and I love it. I make the majority of my living on the road mixing for live events all over the country. I'm wondering if anyone knows of any reason why I couldn't use the analyser built into the EQ section of Logic to set up my live rooms and venues? There is another software that traditionally people in my industry use to do this, it's much more expensive and when I only want to use the EQ features, it seems that the Logic analyser would work just fine.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Have you considered using Match EQ?.
The phase shifting of an IR could probably be useful if you intend to even out your signal, although this would yield to an approximate result as the frequency responses differ between a filled vs an empty venue...
