Hi, I was hoping to get some advice on my set up.
I've been out of action for a few years and have dusted off my stuff to do a live recording of a rock covers band.
My gear -
Computer -Mac OS X 10.5.8, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 DRAM
Software -Logic 8.0.2
Interface -Apogee Mini-Me, Digi 003 Rack
desk - Behringher MX 9000 mixing desk
Borrow- M-Audio Octane 8
The plan is to take line outs from desk to recording ins of the , mini-me(spidif) and octane (light pipe -adat) all into the digi 003 and use its inputs as well.
I'm really rusted and after reading some stuff on the adat set up because I havent used that option before I noticed problems some people have with clocking devices. I must admit I think I have the Apogee Mini-Me running the show but... as I said I only just dusted it off.
When I get the octane is there anything I need to be aware of? Can anyone see potential issues? General advice on the process?? Buffer settings?
Appreciate any discussion.
