Logic Pro 9 Lock Markers to Regions?

Made To Feel

Logician
I'm editing a long-form interview and am using markers to make note of what's being said (sometimes general subject matter, sometimes individual phrases).

However when I move my regions, I have to move the markers as well. Worse yet, when I re-order the regions (for example put sentence 3 between sentences 1 & 2) it's chaos.

Is there any way to lock markers to regions so they move together? Other suggestions welcome -- I realize I could rename the individual regions themselves, but I often need to deal with them in a group which is why markers is so useful.

Markers won't lock to regions, AFAIK. Without seeing your workflow you have a number of choices:

Create alternate marker tracks (there are nine in total available).

Delete markers as needed, recreate as needed by dragging regions into marker track.

Put regions in a folder, then just move the folder.
