Logic Pro 7 & earlier Logic 5.5.1 on a 64 bit PC

Has anyone specific knowledge on whether is is possible to get Logic Audio Gold v 5.5.1 to run on a 64 bit Windows 7 PC.
I'm considering upgrading my PC but am hesitant to do this unless I'm sure that Logic will still work

I tried Logic 5.3 on a Windows XP x64 and it started properly sometimes but usually locked up on opening. Works, but very unstable. I imagine it would be even more unstable in Windows 7.
