Hello:
My old faithful PC finally died on me; I was succesfully running my own copy of Logic 5.5 with my XSKey for years. I bought a new PC running Windows 7 Professional (64B), started it in XP mode, was able to install Logic with the original CD but now when trying to open it, get the message that Logic can't find the XSKey. I have it plugged of course in one of the 6 USB ports of the machine. Tried different ports, with no luck. Has anyone had any luck actually running the program in this kind of setup? Is this due to virtualization of USB Ports? I have purchased DP 8 and continue to run Logic 9 on my new MacBook Pro as well but would love to be able to use the old 5.5 in Windows.
Thanks in advance
David
