Logic Pro 9 Logic 9.1 becomes 9.0.2?

I downloaded Logic 9.1, the update.dmg is still in the downloads display, but what I got is 9.0.2, and I am on an Intel MBP.

Anyone understand this?

After Logic 9.1 is installed, 9.0.2 is still available, unlike previous installers, this one does not automatically overwrite the previous version, rather, renames it and leaves it in the applications folder. If you downloaded and installed the 9.1 update correctly, when you then double click "logic pro" in your applications folder, it should be version 9.1 that launches.

kind regards

Thanks Mark, it is 9.0.2 that I have when I open Logic Pro9.0.2, the original 9.0 is also in the applications list-HEY!!! the old Icon does have 9.1 in it-Thanks for helping me through that bit of nonsense, I guess I should leave the 9.0.2 in the list-just in case?

Hi David

I usually have a couple of older versions of Logic on my system, as you say, just in case. The nice thing with 9.1 is, it saved me having to make and rename a copy of 9.0.2.

kind regards

Mark
