Logic Pro 9 Logic 9 buggy after migrating to new system

I recently migrated Logic 9 from my old iMac to my new quad-core iMac.
Logic has been acting buggy ever since: Freezes a lot / 32bit Au bridge quits just about every time I run in 64bit mode. If I leave a session open for a few hours and come back, i get nothing when i hit play. Sometimes the space bar will not stop logic rolling. Just lots of annoyances.
Anyone else experienced this?

I'm thinking about uninstalling and doing a fresh install.
Questions: Do I have to load Logic 8 first/ then install Logic 9 since I purchased 9 as an upgrade?
Will any of my 3rd party plugs be affected? I'm hoping I won't have to
re-install Waves bundle, etc....

No. You will be asked for proof of entitlement to use an upgrade version when installing Logic 9 - either your XSKey or Logic 8 serial number should suffice.

They should not be affected. A waves bundle authorisation is on your ilok, so it is not dependent on some form of system based authorisation anyway.

kind regards
