Here's a new one for me: The IT department gave me a new boot drive (for Rig 1) so I had to install all my software again. Everything went fine until today when I installed Logic Pro 9; the whole hour and a half of installation and disk-swapping proceeded as usual, ending with the big green checkmark and a message that the software was installed successfully. Unfortunately, a search of the drive showed no Logic files anywhere.
Anyone have a suggestion of what happened before I waste another hour and a half re-installing?
***UPDATE*** The second installation worked, and did not require me to insert the 3 Audio Content disks. I'm starting to think this boot disk they gave me is flaky though, partly because of this and partly for other reasons...
