Logic Pro 9 Logic 9 loop issue

Just switched to Logic 9 and having a strange phenomenon wherein it plays the downbeat of the bar after the loop at the top of the loop! Also sometimes waits a few seconds to start... very odd... Any ideas anyone?

Erm, you mean my audio format? it's 16 bit 44.1 k aif...
Another question: I keep getting this (attached) message. What's that all about? Is it trying to tell me I have too many tracks in automation touch mode?
