When I start up Logic 9 on my laptop, it spends a very long long time scanning plugins. Nearly all of this time is spend "searching for AUNetSend". I suppose I might have used this some time in the past, but can't imagine I'll ever use it again. And I can't locate it anywhere in the Plugin folders or in Core Services. It is not in any of my templates or recent projects.
I've unchecked it, along with all the other Apple AU_____ plugins that come with OS X, in the AU Manager, but Logic still spends ages searching for AUNet Send. It's not a problem once Logic gets started but you lose the will to live waiting for it time after time.
This does not happen on my desktop with the same version of Logic.
How do I get Logic to stop looking for AUNetSend?
